Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time in our kitchen making everything from scratch. I started cooking 2 days early this year. I made hash brown casserole, carrot puff, macaroni + cheese, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, turkey (in the crock pot - delicious!), ham, coleslaw and rolls. Also, we had apple and pumpkin pie from My Sugar Pie. I made Grandma Mary's strawberry pretzel dessert too. Everything was very tasty and ready to eat around 1:00. We just found out that we are having another baby! I had taken 2 pregnancy tests earlier in the week, but they were both negative. I was late on starting my period so I took another test this afternoon and we saw 2 pink lines. Shawn and I both had tears in our eyes. We are so excited to add another little blessing to our family (due July 2018). We are so grateful for the gift of life. God has blessed us! #Shawn #Natalie #Baby6 #pregnancytest

We visited the replica of Noah's Ark in Kentucky today. It was amazing! Here is some information from their website: The Ark Encounter, is a one-of-a-kind, historically themed attraction. In an entertaining, educational, and immersive way, it presents a number of historical events centered on Noah’s Ark as recorded in the Bible. As the largest timber-frame structure in the world, the 510-foot-long full-size Ark is designed to be family-oriented, historically authentic, and environmentally friendly. The Ark Encounter, as sister attraction of the popular Creation Museum, is a Christian evangelistic outreach intended to bring the Ark of Noah’s day to life. Located in Williamstown, Kentucky, the Ark equips visitors to understand the reality of the events that are recorded in the book of Genesis: The global Flood did happen as an act of God’s judgment. Noah & his family really did build a ship of the same size and dimensions as written in Genesis 6. All of the animals brought by God to Noah did fit inside the Ark. Noah and his family could care for all of the animals while they were on the Ark.
