Logan went to a birthday party today and was able to experience zip lining for the 1st time. He was a little hesitant at first, but he found his courage and tried it. He loved it and was all smiles as he zipped across the line and through the indoor facility. It made my heart happy to see him smile from ear to ear. Zip City is new to Indy. I believe that they opened late summer of 2016. They have fun indoor activities such as: rock climbing, trampolines, zip lining and a soccer field. We had beautiful weather today - 65 degrees and sunny! The horses were out across from our neighborhood, which is one of my favorite sights to see in the mornings. We took a walk and I had my camera so I was able to get a shot of the horses. The kids played outside all day, which was wonderful. We spent this evening at Greg & Stephanie's house for our life group gathering. Logan's class celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing "old." Logan loves dressing up so he had fun pretending to be an old man. Ha! I love the sheet he filled out about being 100 years old. :) #Logan #1stGrade #100thdayofschool

We love visiting the children's museum. There are so many wonderful exhibits. They have a "Doc McStuffins" exhibit from Disney Junior and we wanted to see it before it closes in a few weeks. I picked the kids up from school and we spent about 2 hours at the museum, which was perfect. It was quiet and we had the museum all to ourselves. Today, Mikayla decided to make a cookie recipe from her new cookbook that she received as a Christmas gift. Mikayla & Sophie had fun measuring ingredients, shaving an orange peel and placing chocolate kisses in the middle of the cookies. I loved hearing their laughter as they baked together this afternoon. #Mikayla #baking #cookies

Landon LOVES going to Gymboree and seeing Ms. Wendy. We have been going to Gymboree since Mikayla was a baby. The art class is always fun and a place to get messy. Landon gets to paint, make a craft, eat a snack (he usually picks animal crackers) and listen to a story read by Ms. Wendy. We can't forget the stamps - he loves to have about 4-5 art stamps on each arm too. I have so many fun Gymboree memories with all the kiddos! :) #Landon #Mikayla #Malia

I looked over at the stairs and found our baby Malia on the 2nd step. Oh my goodness! We have a climber on our hands now. The boys stood behind her as she climbed up the steps. I guess it's time to get the baby gates out again! #Malia #Logan #Mason

We traveled in our new "toaster" looking van to beautiful New Smyrna Beach where we spent almost 2 wonderful weeks. We made sand castles, dipped our feet in the ocean, played in the pool and enjoyed a few games of shuffleboard. Quiet, calm and no schedule - just what our family needed!
